Job summary

NES Fircroft is actively seeking 10 Journeyman Pipefitters for an immediate start on a major Power Plant Construction project in Louisville, Kentucky. The contract runs for 30 days with a per diem of $105 per day and 7x12 hour shifts.

Rate is $34 per hour for up to 40 hours with overtime beyond that threshold; candidates will install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes on a large site.

Qualifications

• Experience reading isometric drawings and applying piping standards.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications for piping projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Read isometric drawings and take measurements for fabrication and installation.
• Align, bolt, clamp and weld pipe components as required.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings and equipment per specifications.

I am currently searching for 10 Journeyman Pipefitters for an immediate start to work on a large Power Plant Construction project in Louisville, Kentucky.

This contract is for 30 days to install Chem Clean Pipe

• Per diem is $105/ days worked
• 7 x 12 hour shifts
• Rate: $34 per hour (up to 40 hrs) + OT (after 40 hrs worked)

Position Summary

Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair all types of piping systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain working knowledge of various types of pipe and pipe systems, including butt welded, socket welded, threaded, Victaulic, grooved, glued and fused joints

Reading isometric drawings, taking measurements, fabricating and installing piping efficiently

Align, bolt, and clamp together components of fabricated metal products to secure in position for welding

Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints
