Job summary

W3Global is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter in Georgetown, SC to join our client’s engineering and manufacturing team. You will read blueprint drawings and P&ID diagrams, select pipe types and materials, and lay out and thread piping for fabrication and installation.

This role requires at least 5 years of related experience or apprenticeship, with a strong focus on safety, independence, and quality workmanship.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and P&ID diagrams.
• Select the appropriate type and size of pipe, related materials, and equipment.
• Cut pipe using saws, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machines.
• Fit pipe in sequence to be welded in a positioner by hand or by machine.
• Layout and thread pipe using pipe threading machines.
• Maintain an orderly and safe workplace.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field OR completion of an apprenticeship program.

Highly Desirable

• Combo Welder / Fitter experience.
