Job summary

Epic Piping seeks a detail-oriented Material Pricing Specialist to join our Pricing and Billing Team in Baton Rouge. You will maintain accurate material pricing for pipe fabrication projects while supporting prebilling, invoicing, and month-end reconciliation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in material pricing within piping or EPC environments, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with carbon steel and other alloys.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in material pricing or in a pipe fabrication, industrial construction, or EPC environment.
• Strong familiarity with piping materials including carbon steel, chrome moly, stainless steels, duplex alloys, and nickel-based alloys.
• Proficient with Excel and pricing systems; ability to interpret and apply job agreements and pricing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Validate supplier pricing against customer-approved price lists, price charts, or cost-plus agreements.
• Create prebills for material received in preparation for customer invoicing.
• Price each material line using customer-approved price lists or cost-plus material pricing per job agreement.
• Partially invoice completed material lines the same day or as soon as practicable once ready for billing.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal reviews and customer inquiries.
