Job Summary

As a Loader Operator, you will be a key member of our pipe crew, responsible for operating and maintaining a loader to support the installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment necessary for underground utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a loader with precision, following project plans and specifications for material handling and movement.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Handle pipes, materials, and equipment safely, loading and unloading accurately.
• Assist in trenching and excavation tasks as needed to prepare work areas.
• Ensure material handling and loading meet project standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the pipe crew, Pipe Crew Foreman, and team members to coordinate activities and achieve project goals.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors, reporting progress and issues.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, inspections, and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports and work logs.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges during material handling and loading tasks.
