Job summary

Walbec Group is hiring for a field position in Madison, WI. The role supports pipe layers, operators and foremen by coordinating materials to install sanitary, water main, and storm pipes and manholes.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, 3+ years in sewer and water, and be able to work varied hours including nights and weekends. Union membership is preferred; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL desired but not essential.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years experience in sewer and water.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed.
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments.
• Ability to clean, maintain, and assist in repairing equipment.
• Passage of Operators Union aptitude test when required.
