Job summary

AssuranceAmerica in Tampa, FL is seeking a PIP Trainee to investigate and adjust minor complexity PIP claims. You will coordinate medical exams, manage medical bills, and maintain communications with insureds, providers, and attorneys while applying reserving guidelines.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a drive to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A Bachelor’s Degree and Florida licensing exam are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Must pass the Florida Resident Adjuster Property & Casualty licensing exam.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing contact with insureds, medical providers, and attorneys.
• Obtain recorded statements as warranted.
• Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations as warranted.
• Establish proper reserves in accordance with company reserving guidelines.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and work with Special Investigations Unit when appropriate.

PIP Trainee

Investigate and adjust PIP claims of minor complexity through their conclusion. The PIP adjuster trainee will medically manage files, pay medical bills as warranted and identify potential fraud indicators. This is inclusive of both PIP and Medpay claims.

About The ROLE

• Complete initial and ongoing contact with insureds, medical providers, and attorneys.
