What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage moderately complex first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims from initiation to resolution
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims, ensuring accurate coverage determinations
- Handle claims with reserves up to $30,000 and escalate complex cases as necessary
- Provide claims advisory support and assist with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls
- Present coverage issues to the committee for discussion and resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience in the insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Strong computer navigation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a respect for diverse backgrounds
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
- Knowledge of collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
- Flexibility to work various shifts during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
