What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Manage moderately complex first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims from initiation to resolution
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims, ensuring accurate coverage determinations
  • Handle claims with reserves up to $30,000 and escalate complex cases as necessary
  • Provide claims advisory support and assist with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls
  • Present coverage issues to the committee for discussion and resolution

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience in the insurance industry
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong computer navigation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a respect for diverse backgrounds

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Prior experience with PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
  • Knowledge of collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
  • Flexibility to work various shifts during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
