What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Handle moderately complex first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle medical expense and PIP claims effectively
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate appropriate actions to customers
  • Rule out exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorist and subrogation during investigations
  • Present coverage issues to committee as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong computer navigation skills and multitasking abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
  • Knowledge of collision, loss-of-use, and third-party property damage exposures
  • Flexibility to work various shifts within operating hours
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
