What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage moderately complex Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims with reserves up to $30,000
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle medical expense and PIP claims, making necessary coverage determinations
- Handle claims involving additional suffixes such as income continuation and essential services
- Present coverage issues to a committee for discussion and resolution
- Provide assistance with FNOL calls, Claims Advisory Support, and Casualty Support as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster's Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a solid understanding of insurance coverages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
- Knowledge or experience with collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
- Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual skills are a plus
