What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Manage moderately complex Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims with reserves up to $30,000
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle medical expense and PIP claims, making necessary coverage determinations
  • Handle claims involving additional suffixes such as income continuation and essential services
  • Present coverage issues to a committee for discussion and resolution
  • Provide assistance with FNOL calls, Claims Advisory Support, and Casualty Support as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster's Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a solid understanding of insurance coverages

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
  • Knowledge or experience with collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
  • Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to shaping company culture through active participation in team activities
