What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Handle moderately complex Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims and evaluate medical expense claims
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate appropriate actions to customers
  • Investigate claims for potential exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorists and subrogation
  • Act as the owning adjuster for files with reserves up to policy limits
  • Present coverage issues to committee as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of claims experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required to obtain and maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Prior experience handling PIP claims and first-party medical coverage
  • Knowledge of collision, loss-of-use, third-party property damage, and bodily injury exposures
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Active participation in shaping company culture through community involvement
