Job summary

Olé is seeking a reliable PIO Route Sales Driver to power Direct Store Delivery (DSD) in the Amarillo/Lubbock area. You will manage your own route, transport Olé tortillas, and build strong relationships with retail partners.

This role rewards independent work, safety, and efficiency in store execution. You’ll load, merchandize, and log invoices with handheld tech, while staying compliant with vehicle standards and daily route planning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems in grocery environments.
• Proficient with handheld devices and mobile printers to process invoices and inventory records.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and commitment to road safety.
• Physically able to load/unload deliveries and stock store displays.
• Must be 23+ years old for fleet insurance compliance.
• English and Spanish bilingual is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Olé products and merchandising materials to major grocery chains and independent stores according to the route schedule.
• Set up cardboard displays and organize inventory for maximum visibility on shelves.
• Use handheld devices and printers to generate store invoices, manage product credits, and log travel hours.
• Plan daily routes to avoid delays and ensure timely store arrivals.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and maintained.
• Maintain proactive communication with management regarding vehicle needs and in-store feedback.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused PIO Route Sales Driver to power our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations across the Lubbock area. In this role, you aren’t just a delivery driver—you are the face of Olé in local grocery stores. You will manage your own route schedule, transport our famous tortillas, and build positive relationships with retail partners. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Deliver Excellence: Safely load, transport, and unload premium Olé products and merchandising materials to major grocery chains and independent stores according to your route schedule.
• Merchandising & Presentation: Ensure our products look their best on store shelves by setting up vibrant cardboard displays and organizing inventory for maximum visibility.
• Manage Route Logistics: Utilize handheld devices and printers to seamlessly generate store invoices, manage product credits, and log accurate travel hours.
• Navigate Smartly: Optimize your daily travel routes to bypass construction or traffic congestion, ensuring timely store arrivals.
• Maintain Your Ride: Perform routine daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and keep your company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Be a Reliable Partner: Maintain proactive communication with management regarding vehicle needs, route status, or in-store feedback.

What You Bring (Requirements & Experience)

• DSD & Grocery Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems inside chain or independent grocery environments.
• Tech-Comfortable: Prior experience using handheld devices and mobile printers to process invoices and inventory records.
• Driving Credentials: A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to road safety regulations.
• Physical Capability: Comfort with daily physical work, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles and stocking store displays.
• Age & Reliability: Must be 23 years of age or older (for fleet insurance compliance), highly punctual, and deeply reliable.
• Languages: Excellent communication skills; Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus!
