Job summary

InstantServe Healthcare is seeking an expert Ping Directory Lead in Malvern, PA for a 12-month contract or FTE. The role focuses on migrating Active Directory to Ping Directory within a medium-to-large financial services context.

You will own Ping Directory strategy, architecture, automation, security, and production operations. The ideal candidate has deep production experience with Ping Directory, PingDirectoryProxy, PingDataSync, and a track record of large AD to Ping Directory migrations,

Qualifications

• Deep production experience with Ping Directory and related tools.
• Led at least one large-scale AD to Ping Directory migration with full lifecycle responsibilities.
• Strong in schema design, replication, synchronization, access controls, HA/DR, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Own Ping Directory strategy, architecture, automation, security, and production operations.
• Lead migration efforts from Active Directory to Ping Directory including discovery, mapping, cutover, validation, and rollback.
• Drive automation via Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/cloud environments (AWS).
• Coordinate integrations with Okta, Entra ID, PingFederate, REST, SCIM, and PAM; ensure security and compliance.

Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract or FTE)

Pay Rate: $70/hr W2 | $75/hr 1099/C2C

Role Summary

Seeking an expert-level Ping Directory Lead with hands-on experience migrating Active Directory to Ping Directory in a medium-to-large financial organization. Must own Ping Directory strategy, architecture, automation, security, and production operations.

Must-Have Skills

Deep production experience with Ping Directory, PingDirectoryProxy, PingDataSync.

Led at least one large-scale AD → Ping Directory migration (discovery, mapping, coexistence, cutover, validation, rollback).

Strong in schema design, replication, synchronization, access controls, HA/DR, performance tuning, and incident leadership.

Automation with Terraform, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes/cloud (AWS).

Integrations with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, PingFederate, REST, SCIM, PAM.

Solid Linux, scripting (Python/PowerShell/shell), observability (e.g., Splunk), backup/DR, and compliance/audit controls.

Preferred

Financial services or highly regulated environment experience.

Ping or cloud certifications; exposure to broader Ping Identity suite.
