Job summary

Thehivecareers.co is seeking an experienced IAM engineer to support PingFederate and PingAccess deployments on-site in Raleigh, NC (1st preference) and other PA locations. You will handle authentication technologies (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, WS-FED), policy enforcement, and LDAP integration, with a focus on uptime and security.

The role requires hands-on experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and on-boarding applications to PingAccess, plus upgrading PingFederate/PingAccess and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PingFederate and PingAccess deployments.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and WS-FED authentication methods.
• Knowledge of PingFederate Policy Server and policy enforcement concepts.
• Experience with access management, federated identity, 2-factor solutions, and LDAP directories.
• Experience in implementing/supporting PingFederate across environments.
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Kibana, Dynatrace).
• Ability to analyze logs on Unix/Linux and troubleshoot with clients.
• Experience onboarding applications to PingAccess and configuring custom headers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support PingFederate and PingAccess on-site.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
• Assist with upgrades and patching of PingFederate and PingAccess.
• Troubleshoot authentication, federation, and LDAP-related issues.
• Collaborate with clients to optimize access management architectures.

Job description

Location : Raleigh (RTP), NC (1st preference) OR Downingtown or Philadelphia , PA (2nd preference) DAY 1 ONSITE

Good hands on experience in PingFederate & PingAccess.

Strong understanding of Authenticating technologies such as SAML,OAuth/OIDC, WS-FED authentication and other authentication methods.

Strong working knowledge of PingFederate Policy Server, policy enforcement products/Concepts.

Good understanding of access management, federated identity, 2-factor solutions, and LDAP Directories.

Experience in implementing/support the PingFederate across different environments.

Good understanding of F5 Load Balancer and Networking technologies.

Experience in integrating applications via Reference and OpenToken Adapter.

Experience in monitoring Technologies stack (Prometheus, Grafana,Splunk, Kibana and Dynatrace) and ability to design dashboard,aggregated queries, and alerts.

Experience in using Unix/Linux utilities for analyzing logs, and trouble-shooting the applications with clients.

Experience in on-boarding an application in Pingaccess.

Experience in custom header configuration in Pingaccess.

Experience in upgrading PingFederate and PingAccess.

Experience in Solving complex Operations problem.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
