Flanigan’s is seeking a friendly and efficient team member to support guests with menus, take accurate orders, and deliver food and drinks promptly in a fast-paced setting.

You will handle payments, assist with side work, and ensure ToGo orders are accurate while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. English proficiency and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Assist teammates with table appearance, delivering food/drink, and other tasks.
• Know the menu well and explain items, promotions, and specials to guests clearly.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Retrieve and deliver food/drink orders from kitchen/bar to guests promptly.
• Process guest payments via credit card, cash, or gift cards and provide correct change.
• Handle shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned side work.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests.
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area and ensure a smooth handoff.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
