Job summary
System One, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Operator for a 6-9 month contract in Conshohocken, PA.
The role operates on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and involves pilot-scale equipment handling, basic lab tests for quality control, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in chemical/manufacturing settings, familiarity with hazardous chemicals, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in chemical or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with hazardous chemicals is a plus.
- Strong understanding of general chemical practices and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment for pilot-scale trials of developmental products.
- Conduct tasks in a pilot plant setting, including basic lab tests for quality control.
- Monitor processes for deviations and report observations to supervisors.
- Document observations and communicate with next shift personnel.
- Contribute to site safety procedures, programs, and policies.
- Assist with handling hazardous chemicals, with experience being a plus.
- Support a team environment with stable and tenured team members.
