Job summary

Nestlé’s Research & Development Center in Marysville, OH, is looking for a hands-on Technician to support pilot plant trials and end-to-end coffee processing operations. You will set up and operate equipment, assist with changeovers, and participate in data collection and process improvement activities.

The role emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting, adherence to SOPs, and a strong focus on safety, sanitation, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive innovation in food and beverage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of previous operational/manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with roasters, evaporators, centrifuges, aroma recovery, and dryers preferred.
• Experience with thermal and aseptic processing equipment preferred.
• Experience with rupture discs and safety valves preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, operate, clean, and shut down food processing equipment.
• Execute equipment change over activities.
• Perform mechanical repairs, inspection and troubleshooting as required.
• Document trial data records and prepare summaries of trial results.
