Job summary

A2G International LLC is seeking a Pilot In Command to support contracted flight operations in the CONUS/OCONUS missions. Responsibilities include flight planning, go/no-go decisions, weather assessment, and coordination with on-board sensor operators and site leadership.

The role requires 1,000 hours PIC time, a current FAA certificate, and a DoD clearance. Training may occur in Titusville, FL; relocation is not required at this time.

Summary

A2G currently has an opening for a Pilot In Command (PIC). This role supports contracted flight operations and requires the highest standards of aviation skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. The PIC will perform all operational duties in the Cessna 337G/H Skymaster, including flight planning, pre and post flight activities, coordinating with Mission Systems Operators (MSOs) who operate the on-board sensor systems and responsible for mission execution as directed by the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and the A2G Program Chief Pilot. PIC’s may have additional duties when directed as an Aviation Safety Pilot, Airspace Coordinator, Pilot Scheduler, Tactical Operations Officer, and/or Flight Operations Manager. All operations must comply with applicable regulations and A2G program/corporate policies and procedures.

Pilots will work only when training or on a deployment rotation supporting CONUS or OCONUS collection missions. All other times they will be on leave without pay (LWOP), unless authorized by Management. Although training will be conducted in Titusville, FL, relocation is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PIC for assigned Cessna 337 operational, training, repositioning, and mission-support flights.

• Exercise PIC authority for the safe conduct of each flight, including go/no-go decisions, weather assessment, fuel planning, weight and balance, aircraft performance, and operational risk management.

• Conduct preflight planning, crew briefings, mission coordination, post-flight debriefings, and required flight documentation.

• Coordinate closely with Mission System Operators, maintenance, flight operations leadership, and other mission personnel to safely accomplish assigned objectives.

• Maintain required aircraft, mission, instrument, night, and other applicable currency and proficiency.

• Comply with the company FGOP, approved checklists, aircraft flight manual/POH, contract requirements, DCMA-INST 8210-1D requirements, and applicable FAA regulations.

• Complete company and Government-required ground and flight training, evaluations, records, forms, and risk-management documentation.

• Support a disciplined safety culture and exercise stop-work/stop-flight authority when an unacceptable risk condition exists.

Education

Bachelor's degree with four (4)+ years of related experience. Additional years' experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

Flight Hour & FAA Requirements

• 1,000 hours documented PIC time

• 300 hours PIC in a Cessna 337 or similar aircraft type

• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate

• Current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license

General Requirements

• US Citizen

• Minimum age of 21

• Must read, write, speak and understand English

• Possess a valid passport and state driver’s license

• Currently possess an active DoD Secret clearance, or higher

• Ability to successfully meet all contractual / program training requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass background check

• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance

• 1,500 hours PIC time

• FAA Multiengine Instructor (MEI) rating

• Cessna 337, 336, O-2, Reims F337, or directly related Skymaster-family PIC and instructional experience

• Prior formal Instructor Pilot, Standardization Pilot, Check Airman, Flight Examiner, military IP, or equivalent aviation-training experience

• ISR, special mission, airborne surveillance, law-enforcement support, military, or Government-contract aviation experience

• Prior experience with DCMA-INST 8210-1 series requirements, DD Form 2628 qualification processes, or GFR oversight
