Job summary

Wing Aviation in Las Vegas seeks a Second in Command (SIC) for a Gulfstream IV based in Las Vegas, NV. The SIC will be responsible for safe operation of the aircraft and ensuring compliance with Wing Aviation policies. The candidate should hold FAA ATP, First Class Medical, and a GIV rating, with 1–6 years of experience and currency requirements. Local candidates within a two-hour callout are preferred.

Responsibilities

Wing Aviation is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) for a GIV aircraft based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• Responsible for the safe operation of the GIV aircraft.
• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.
• Complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Ensure the flight is conducted following the policies and procedures of Wing Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

• Knowledge of and ability to comply with the 14 CFR 91 and 14 CFR 135 Operations, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight and Equipment manuals as well as any other information required for each flight.

Prefer local candidates with appropriate rating and currency. Crew needs to live within a 2 hour call out of where the jet is based.
