Talent Matrixx LLC is seeking a Lead Pilot & Flight Operations Manager to lead its Part 91 aviation department in Boise, ID. The role serves as Lead Captain of a Challenger 604 and drives daily operations, safety, budgeting, and strategic guidance for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced aviator, a practical financial operator, and a trusted advisor who can manage crew development, regulatory compliance, and international operations while maintaining exceptional

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Challenger 604 or CL-600 type rating required.
• Minimum 5,000 total hours with 2,000 PIC, 1,000 turbine and 1,000 multi-engine.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and international operations.
• Ability to pass background and drug testing.
• Flexible schedule and travel as needed.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Lead Pilot & Flight Operations Manager to lead their Part 91 aviation department located in Boise, ID.

This individual serves as Lead Captain of a Challenger 604 and is responsible for daily operations of the Aviation Department. The successful candidate will be an experienced aviator, a practical financial operator, and a trusted advisor to company leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Safety is first and foremost when executing all flights and planning
• Ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for flight
• Manages the department efficiently and professionally while exhibiting skills in to manage costs, budgets and purchases
• Own flight operations, aircraft readiness, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, financial management, vendor relationships, scheduling, flight crew development, and passenger experience

Qualifications

• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Challenger 604 or CL-600 series type rating
• Minimum Hours: 5,000 Total, 2,000 Pilot in Command, 1,000 Turbine,1,000 Multi-engine
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, international operations, CRM, aircraft performance, and operational risk management
• Ability to pass required background and drug testing
• Ability to work a variable schedule and respond to changing travel needs

Ideal Qualifications

• Previous responsibility for leading a corporate flight department
• Experience managing aircraft maintenance events and reviewing maintenance work scopes.
• Experience preparing or managing an aviation operating budget
• Demonstrated success reducing operating costs without sacrificing safety or reliability
• Experience working directly with a CEO, ownership group, or senior executive team
• International flight operations experience
• Experience developing and mentoring other pilots
