Position Type: Full Time
Description

Purpose: This role serves as EMB-120 Pilot in Command (PIC) on Berry Aviation on-demand cargo flights requiring two pilot crewmembers. The Captain is directly responsible for the Second in Command on the flight.

Total Compensation: $120,000 - $190,000 / year

Responsibilities:
  • Operate the aircraft according to company procedures.
  • Monitor and assist in cargo loading, ensuring cargo and support equipment are airworthy and secured.
  • Prepare Weight and Balance paperwork as per procedures.
  • Receive weather updates and ATC clearance to prepare the cockpit.
  • Remain on call during the assigned period, able to arrive at the aircraft within 30 minutes.
  • Complete all required training and testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot with Multi-Engine Instrument privileges.
  • 1500 Hours Total Flight Time in Airplanes.
  • 500 Hours Multi-Engine Flight Time.
  • U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relocation within 30 minutes of domicile.
  • Ability to travel for long periods.
  • High School Diploma.

Preferred:

  • FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • 3000 Hours Total Flight Time.
  • 1000 Hours Multi-Engine Flight Time.
  • Undergraduate Degree.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift objects over 150 lbs.
  • Reaching, stretching, and twisting in confined spaces.
  • Work in extreme temperatures and high altitudes.
