Talon Air is seeking a strong Captain for an international GV position based in Farmingdale, NY. This Part 135 operator offers a diverse fleet, long-term stability and mobility across seats, with many pilots home-based. Total compensation is $230,000+ with full benefits and a 12/8 schedule.

Ideal candidates hold ATP with 3500+ TT, 1000+ ME, 750+ PIC, international ops experience, Part 135 exposure, FAA First Class Medical and a valid passport. GV type rating preferred.

Qualifications

• ATP with 3500+ total time and 1000+ multi-engine time; 750+ PIC time (large cabin preferred).
• International operations experience and Part 135 exposure preferred.
• FAA First Class Medical and a valid passport are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments under Part 91 and Part 135.
• Maintain high level of customer service and professional crew coordination at all times.
• Represent Talon Air in a professional manner and provide exceptional passenger experiences.
• Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage.
• Conduct passenger briefings and respond to requests and needs during flights.
• Adhere to company procedures and maintain current medical certificate as required.

Talon Air is looking to add a strong Captain to the team for an international GV position.

We are a Part 135 operator headquartered in Farmingdale, NY operating a fleet of 40+ aircraft including Global 6000/5000, Gulfstream 550/450, GV, G-IVSP, Challenger 604/605, Challenger 3500, Falcon 2000, Hawker 4000, G200, and Citation platforms. We have been operating for over 25 years and have built a stable, long-term platform for both our clients and pilots. Most of our pilots are home-based and airline to/from the aircraft for each rotation.

The aircraft performs a mix of worldwide Part 91 owner flying and Part 135 charter operations.

We offer real mobility across the fleet, along with opportunities to move into check airman roles and other leadership positions. You're not locked into one seat or one type unless you want to be.

Total compensation is $230,000+, along with full benefits (401k match, medical, dental, vision, etc.), a consistent 12/8 schedule.

GV type rating is preferred; however, we will consider other highly qualified Captains with large cabin international experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments operating under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Maintain a high degree of crew coordination, performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times.

Provide an exceptional experience for the aircraft owner and passengers while representing Talon Air in a professional manner.

Greeting of passengers and assistance with passenger seating and luggage storage.

Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs.

Adhere to the duties and responsibilities stated in all company procedures manuals.

Maintain a current First Class Medical certificate as required by Talon Air policy and notify the company if a medical (physical or mental) condition may impair the ability to perform flight duties.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
