Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Piledriver to work on the Elbow Rd Project in Virginia Beach, VA. The successful candidate will operate a piledriver on various mounting configurations to drive piles for building, bridge, and pier foundations.

Responsibilities include following hoisting procedures, performing routine maintenance, safety checks, and documenting activities. Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a piledriver mounted on skids, barge, crawler treads, or locomotive crane to drive piles for foundations.
• Know procedures for hoisting equipment and positioning piling leads.
• Perform basic maintenance; complete safety checks and required paperwork.
• Work in noisy environments with associated vibrations and physical demands.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
