Job summary

The Walsh Group, through Archer Western de Moya JV, seeks a Piledriver Foreman for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL. The role supervises a crew of 3-15, directing pile driving operations to form foundations for bridges and piers.

The candidate will oversee field operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with trades to maintain schedules. Strong leadership, planning, and reading of plans are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of foreman/leadership experience preferred.
• 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership with crews/subcontractors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew, management, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate with coworkers to ensure proper completion.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews within designated area of the project.
• Schedule and coordinate activities of workers; align with other trades.
• Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements.
• Locate and mark site locations using measuring tools.
• Document personnel, production, and operational data on forms/reports.
• Assist workers using hand tools or other equipment.
• Inspect progress, equipment, and site for safety and adherence to specs.
