Job summary

Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group, seeks a Concrete Finisher Foreman to supervise and coordinate a crew on the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL.

The Foreman will schedule daily activities for 3–15 workers, ensure concrete finishes meet specifications, enforce safety, and report progress. Candidates should have strong leadership, plan-reading ability, and stamina for outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of foreman experience preferred.
• 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; experience managing crews and subcontractors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew, project management, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews within their specific area or portion of the project.
• Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and communicates with other trades.
• Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements and plan procedures; ensure finished concrete surfaces meet specs.
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations; ensure patches and repairs on concrete surfaces.
• Record personnel, production, or data on reports.
• Provide assistance to workers using hand tools or other equipment.
• Inspect progress, equipment, and site to verify safety and specifications.
• Train and supervise workers on safety policies and procedures.
