Job summary

Trumbull Corporation in Arlington, VA, is hiring skilled Pile Drivers for the Long Bridge South project, a design-build rail infrastructure effort over the Potomac River. You will operate pile driving heads and cranes to install pilings for bridge foundations and walls, while following safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and apprenticeship experience; per diem and lodging are negotiable, with strong mentorship and growth opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of apprenticeship program or related experience/training.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide in units of measure).
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
• Knowledge of and adherence to company safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate pile driving heads/power hammers and rigs to drive pilings for walls and foundations.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to position piling leads.
• Oil and service pile driving rigs and parts.
• Move construction materials and earth; clear land for pile driving operations.
• Build structures per sketches and blueprints; position leads accurately.
• Erect, climb and work on equipment at various heights.
• Comply with safety codes and programs.
• Dig trenches and maneuver heavy materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
