Job summary

Kokosing, one of America’s 50 largest General Contractors, is hiring experienced Pile Drivers in the Baltimore, MD area (and Hopewell, VA). You will operate pile drivers mounted on skids, barges, crawler treads, or cranes to drive pilings for foundations of bridges and piers.

The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, pre-operational checks, and the ability to work with heavy equipment. English literacy is required; the base hourly range is $26.00–$32.00 with compensation

Qualifications

• Experience in marine pile driving operations including Concrete pile, H-pile, and Pipe pile.
• Understand English
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, read rule, calculate measurements.

Responsibilities

• Use of necessary hand and power tools to perform job tasks.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Clean, lubricate, and refill equipment as required.
• Drive pilings to provide support for structures such as bridges using heavy equipment with a pile driver head.
• Move levers and operate hoisting equipment to position piling leads and hammer over pilings.
