Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking Pilates Instructors who are self-starters, energetic, health & fitness minded, and love to help others feel better, move better, and live better. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants with varying weekday and weekend availability, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Opportunity to work 6-20+ hours per week with a flexible schedule. We value experience—instructor experience in Pilates is preferred, but we will train motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience teaching Pilates is preferred, but we will work with new and non-certified Pilates Instructors.
• Experience in fitness, dance, yoga, or mind-body movement is a plus.
• Open to mature clients and post-rehabilitation approaches.

Responsibilities

• Instruct effective, motivating, and safe Pilates sessions.
• Use a variety of equipment and exercises in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Manage individual schedule and clientele scheduling.
• Handle administrative processes for session sales and payroll.
• Communicate regularly with management, coworkers, and club staff.
• Provide demo sessions for members and coworkers.
• Participate in department and club promotional campaigns.
• Attend department in-services and staff meetings.
• Promote self and program to prospective clients.
• Follow up with clients to grow business.

We are seeking Instructors/Trainers with weekday & weekend availability. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Part time or Full time. Opportunity to work 6-20+ hours per week with flexible schedule. At least one year experience teaching Pilates is preferred, but we will work with new and non-certified Pilates Instructors wanting to learn and invest in their skills and career. Experience in fitness, dance, yoga, or mind-body movement practice a plus. Also, in need of Instructors interested in working with mature clients, and those in need of a post-rehabilitation, therapeutic approach.

Job Responsibilities:

• Instruct effective, motivating, and safe Pilates Training/Workout sessions
• Use a variety of Pilates equipment/exercises in small group and one-on-one settings
• Manage individual schedule and clientele scheduling
• Manage administrative processes needed for session sales and payroll
• Regular communication with management, co-workers, and club staff
• Provide Demo sessions for members and co-workers
• Participate in department/club promotional campaigns
• Participate in department In-services and staff meetings
• Promote self and program to prospective clients
• Regular follow-up and outreach with clients/prospective clients to grow business
