Performance Optimal Health in Greenwich, CT is seeking a passionate Pilates Reformer Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis with the potential to go full-time. You will focus on delivering high-quality client care and tailoring sessions to each client’s needs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, assess clients, and adapt sessions to individual goals, with a strong emphasis on safety, anatomy knowledge, and therapeutic Pilates concepts.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by an accredited organization to teach Pilates fitness sessions.
• Certified on all studio apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, Barrel).
• Minimum of two years Pilates instructing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant guidance during Pilates sessions, correcting technique, and instructing clients to learn and follow safely.
• Offer alternatives during sessions to accommodate different levels of fitness.
• Communicate with fellow providers to ensure a full-circle, team approach to wellness and client care.
• Refer to team members when questions arise regarding clients.
• Ensure safe and proper use of Pilates equipment.
• Build positive and lasting relationships with clients.
• Prepare client notes in MindBody after sessions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Join Performance Optimal Health as a Pilates Reformer Instructor . Each of our clients undergo a unique Optimal Health Assessment, allowing us to tailor their plan of care to their specific needs using a variety of our services. Our services we offer are based upon the Four Pillars of Optimal Health - exercise, nutrition, recovery, and stress management. We have highly trained professionals in all four pillars, who make the clients journey their priority.

This year marks our 20-year anniversary and we are excited to build our Pilates Team. We are looking to bring on part-time pilates instructor with the potential of going full-time. We are looking for a passionate, client service focused, positive, hardworking individual who shares the same love for health and wellness as we do here at Performance Optimal Health. Here, you will focus on the client experience and help empower our clients to live better lives by working alongside our other healthcare professionals. Our Pilates Instructor's place an emphasis on quality and attentive first-class client care. They assess an individual and/or semi-private group of clients and adapt sessions to the client's needs on any particular day.

Instructors will work with a broad spectrum of clients including those who are simply looking to improve their fitness and those who are actively being treated by a physical or occupational therapist. Due to this, instructor is required to have some level of knowledge of therapeutic Pilates and/or a strong knowledge of/interest in anatomy and therapy. Pilates Reformer Instructor's will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and are expected to communicate with other team members to provide the best experience for their clients.

Requirements

• Must be certified by an accredited organization, to teach Pilates fitness sessions(mat certification/Anatomy certification)
• Certified on all studio apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, Barrel)
• Minimum of two years Pilate's instructing is preferred
