Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus is seeking a Reformer Instructor to lead Reformer/Pilates classes and help members achieve their fitness goals in a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, effective classes, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service. CPR/AED and Pilates certification are required, with knowledge of safety practices preferred.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Reformer/Pilates Instructor Certification required.
• High school Diploma/GED preferred.
• CPR/AED required.

Responsibilities

• Engage members in conversation and address them by first name.
• Arrive to class five minutes early and lead classes safely and effectively.
• Inspect Reformer equipment before each class and wipe down machines after use; report issues.
• Turn off stereo equipment at the end of class and tidy mats, tubes, balls, and dumbbells.
• Pick up towels, water bottles, trash and other items left by members after each class.
• Provide all music for class; music should be appropriate and not contain expletives.
• All duties as assigned by supervisor.
