Job Description

As an Equinox Pilates Instructor, you will develop your career in a supportive environment, guided by a dedicated manager. Your focus will be on programming, education, and business development to maximize your passion and potential, helping redefine fitness and living standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop safe, professional Pilates programs tailored to individual client goals.
2. Conduct initial assessments and goal setting.
3. Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
4. Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your client base.
5. Manage all administrative aspects of client management.
6. Coordinate with other departments to enhance member experience.
7. Provide excellent customer service.
8. Maintain consistent client activity and progress tracking.
9. Participate in ongoing training.
10. Ensure cleanliness of studio and equipment.
11. Work flexible hours (10-40 hours per week).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification covering all apparatus (mat, reformer, Cadillac/trapeze, Wunda chair, high or combo chair, barrels).
• At least 400 hours of Pilates education.
• Valid Pilates certification documentation.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing, sitting, walking, squatting, bending, reaching.
• Pushing, pulling, spotting, and correcting clients during sessions.
