Job summary

The Mandel Jewish Community Center is seeking a Pilates Instructor to deliver high-quality Pilates instruction to members and guests. The role requires arranging sessions, assisting participants with proper form, and collaborating with staff to maintain a safe fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
• AA degree required.
• Group Exercise experience preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Must be qualified on Pilates equipment.
• Detail oriented, organized and responsive with strong customer service.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and customer service skills; ability to multitask.
• AED/CPR/First Aid Certified.
• Proof of citizenship or legal status.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality Pilates instruction and service to all clients.
• Be available to clients when not in a 1-on-1 session, group, or administrative tasks.
• Assist members with safe and effective exercise form during workouts.
• Administer emergency care to members and guests in need of assistance.
• Work as a TEAM with all other departments.
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Support and promote the Pilates studio and encourage members to meet fitness goals.
• Keep studio equipment cleaned and checked for safety weekly.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; stay informed about programs offered by The J.
