Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates is seeking an enthusiastic Instructor to lead BODYBAR-based group classes across our Lenexa locations. You will deliver safe, engaging Pilates sessions and help members experience the BODYBAR method with clear coaching and positivity.

The ideal candidate brings passion for health and fitness, strong communication, and a willingness to learn the BODYBAR system. Prior Pilates experience is welcomed, but training is provided through the comprehensive BODYBAR Instructor program.

Qualifications

• A passion for health, fitness, and exercise.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy.
• Prior Pilates/fitness experience preferred, but not required.
• Completion of the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test‑out.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals.
• Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels.
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form.
• Respond to client questions regarding special movement considerations, studio policies, and promotions.
• Secure substitutes for all assigned classes in a timely manner; remaining responsibilities for unsubbed classes are retained by the teacher.
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class.
