Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor in Brookfield, WI to develop personalized client programs and lead private and group sessions.

You will promote Pilates classes and personal training while maintaining a clean studio and delivering high-level customer service. The role requires a certified Pilates Trainer with reformer, tower, chair, and barrels credentials, plus related PPE–level training and at least 1 year of personal training experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pilates Trainer with Reformer/Tower/Chair/Barrels certification.
• Pilates certificate 150–400 hours preferred.
• 1 year of personal training experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goals and retention.
• Instruct clients during Pilates sessions, ensuring safe equipment use.
• Conduct consultations for new clients, including goal setting.
• Lead private and group Pilates classes and promote programs.
• Complete administrative tasks for each client's fitness plan.
• Maintain Pilates studio cleanliness and equipment.
• Stay current on certifications and new industry trends.
• Educate members on health and fitness topics.
• Provide superior customer service and effective programming.
• Document all aspects of client programming.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends
• Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming
• Documents all aspects of client programming
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Experience in Pilates program design
• Certified Pilates Trainer
• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair and Barrels
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
• CPR and AED Certified
  

Preferred Requirements

• 150 - 400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair)
