Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members by delivering high-quality Pilates programming and education. You will build client relationships, design personalized Pilates plans, and lead both private and group sessions while promoting related classes and training programs.

The role emphasizes safety, member education, excellent customer service, and ongoing credential maintenance. You will work on the studio floor and contribute to a positive Life Time experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Certified Pilates Trainer.
• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair and Barrels.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• CPR and AED Certified.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during Pilates training sessions for safe/effective equipment use.
• Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including goal setting to assess Pilates programs.
• Instruct private and group Pilates classes.
• Promote and sell Pilates programs and Group Fitness classes to members.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintain the Pilates studio cleanliness.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• - Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• - Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• - Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• - Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• - Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• - Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• - Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• - Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• - Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends- Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming
• - Documents all aspects of client programming
• - Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program
• - Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate members

Position Requirements
