Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting members in achieving healthier lives by building relationships. They provide a positive, educational member experience that supports and upholds the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop safe, professional client programs that promote goal achievement and retention.
2. Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates sessions on equipment use.
3. Conduct fitness consultations, including screening and goal setting, to recommend Pilates programs.
4. Instruct private and group Pilates classes.
5. Promote and sell Pilates, Group Fitness, and Personal Training programs.
6. Complete administrative tasks related to clients' fitness plans.
7. Maintain cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
8. Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
9. Educate members on health and fitness issues.
10. Provide excellent customer service to ensure members feel confident and connected.
11. Document all client programming details.
12. Maintain credentials and pursue continuing education.
13. Assist members on the fitness floor to ensure safety, education, and motivation.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Experience in Pilates program design
• Certified Pilates Trainer
• Trained and certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities required
• CPR and AED certification

Preferred Requirements

• 150-400 hours comprehensive Pilates certification covering Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair
