Job summary

A fitness boutique franchise is seeking a passionate BODYBAR Instructor to design and lead Pilates-based group classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of anatomy. Responsibilities include instructing safe and effective classes, educating clients on exercise form, and fostering community engagement. Qualifications

• Strong communication skills essential for instructing and engaging with clients.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy to ensure safe exercise practices.
• Passion for health and fitness, promoting a positive experience.
• Prior Pilates/fitness experience preferred, but not required.
• Complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-out.

Responsibilities

• Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes safely.
• Educate clients on proper exercise form and studio policies.
• Create community engagement before, during, and after classes.
• All teachers are responsible for securing subs for all assigned classes in a timely manner. Any classes not subbed remain the responsibility of the teacher
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class

Job Summary The BODYBAR Instructor is directly supervised by the Fitness Manager or Lead Instructor. The successful candidate possesses a dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a particular passion for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR clients.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals

Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels

Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form

Respond to client questions regarding, but not limited to, the following: special

movement considerations, studio policies and promotions

All teachers are responsible for securing subs for all assigned classes in a timely manner. Any classes not subbed remain the responsibility of the teacher

Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class
