Gold's Gym PNW is seeking a Part-Time Group Exercise Instructor in Kirkland, WA. Lead Pilates Mat and barre-based group sessions, ensuring safety, proper form, and participant engagement. Responsibilities include pre-class prep, in-class coaching, and post-class wrap-up; CPR/First Aid certifications required.

Competenze

• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Pilates Mat instructors – knowledge of Pilates Principles and Pilates Mat exercises with appropriate variations.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
• Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Certification required in the Group Exercise Instructor’s specific program(s).
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid training required.

• Prepare for class: arrive early, orient new participants and answer questions.
• Maintain proper attire and ensure equipment function.
• Explain class format and gauge fitness levels of first-timers.
• Monitor participants for proper form and offer variations for all levels.
• Create a motivational and fun environment for all participants.
• Post-class: reset equipment and prepare room for next class.
• Adhere to schedule and notify management if substitutions are needed.
