Job summary

Mercor is hiring contract Writers in the United States for Project Sisyphus, an ongoing PII anonymization program. You will assess business documents and data exports to determine what counts as personal information, group related entities, and ensure consistent handling.

Reviewers validate your work before it ships. We seek writers who can commit 30+ hours weekly, bring experience with AI data work or QA, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience labeling or QA/reviewing AI outputs.
• Track record in detail-heavy operations fields.
• Ability to follow updated guidelines and verify compliance.

Responsibilities

• Confirm, reject, or classify PII across tasks with many decisions.
• Group related entities into correct clusters for consistency.
• Identify PII that automated checks miss and avoid false positives.
• Apply frequently updated guidelines on the day you work.
• Act on reviewer feedback promptly and propagate learning.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team and raise ambiguities.
