Job summary

Passel Farms, LLC. is seeking a CDL-holding livestock transporter to safely operate trucks and trailers, deliver pigs to and from designated locations, and uphold animal welfare and bio-security.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, keeping logs, maintaining equipment, and using PPE per site protocols; experience with livestock is preferred.

Hours are regular with some variation; a company vehicle is provided for business use and a monthly cell phone stipend is offered.

Qualifications

• CDL required and two years' experience preferred.
• DOT Medical card is required.
• Experience working with livestock preferred.
• A qualifying insurable driver’s license must be maintained to drive on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities

• Safely connect truck/trailer and deliver pigs to and from specified locations.
• Load pigs onto trailer and unload with care for welfare.
• Maintain PPE in compliance with site protocols.
• Manage maintenance, service and inspection of truck and trailer.
• Document mileage sheets, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and logs.
