Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care in Oakland, CA for a 13-week assignment starting 09/28/2026. The role is travel employment with 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week in a hospital PICU.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years PICU experience, a valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. A BSN is preferred. Benefits include housing options, health insurance, travel reimbursement, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of straight PICU experience (not floating).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in the state where care is provided.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity pediatric care in a hospital PICU.
• Work night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
