Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Missouri. This role requires a minimum of one year in PICU, valid RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification.

You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care setting with a supportive clinical team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to handle complex pediatric cases and family

Competenze

• One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Mansioni

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per pediatric nursing protocols
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment and assist physicians during treatments
• Continuously observe patient conditions and notify physicians of critical changes
• Monitor vital signs and interpret data to detect deviations and trigger rapid interventions
• Initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy
• Document history and physical assessments in medical records
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
