Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH. The nurse will provide advanced pediatric critical care to infants and children in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with the care team to implement complex care plans and ensure patient safety.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of PICU experience, a valid RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification; ACLS and CCRN are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and families to ensure understanding.
• Administer medications per pediatric protocols.
• Operate medical equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document assessments and care plans accurately.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
