Qualifikationen

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at submission.
• Minimum 1 year permanent PICU experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications in hand at submission.
• All required certifications must be active at submission.
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialized nursing care in a PICU setting for patients from infancy up to 25 years.
• Perform epilepsy monitoring and care aligned with PICU protocols.
• Administer and monitor inotropes; interpret ECG rhythm findings.
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with up to 2 attempts.
• Complete annual hands-on competency training and pre-start modules as directed by the facility.
