Job summary
Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a dedicated PICU RN Float to provide high-quality pediatric care across our main campus and a secondary location in Akron, OH. The role requires float capabilities between units, including NICU, with strict infection control and PPE adherence.
The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS, have at least 2 years of PICU experience, and travel nursing experience. Epic charting familiarity is preferred, and charge experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license required, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, specifically in the PICU setting.
- Travel nursing experience is required.
- Epic charting system experience preferred, charge experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Float to other acute care units and the NICU as needed.
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and PPE usage.
- Assist with ECMO and CRRT procedures.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team to provide comprehensive care.
