The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, an ADN or higher, and BLS. PALS within three months is required; BSN within five years for ADNs, with a view toward ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• If ADN is highest degree, must obtain BSN within five years of start date.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date; two years of pediatric PICU RN experience preferred.
