Pscfl is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Clinical role in the PICU unit. The position requires completion of an accredited nursing program and FL/eNLC RN licensure, with BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS to be obtained within specified timelines.

The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning with multidisciplinary teams, patient/family education, and on-call coverage as required. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this Magnet-designated hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN Licensure in Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC).
• American Heart Association BLS in good standing.
• PALS within 1 year of hire; keep in good standing.
• NRP within 1 year of hire.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Complete multi-system nursing assessment including vitals and procedures.
• Review admission history and discharge planning per hospital policy.
• Communicate patient progress and changes to physician and care team.
• Plan and document the care plan with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide IV monitoring, specimen collection, and assist procedures.
• Adhere to six rights of medication administration and document administration.
• Collaborate in daily care planning rounds and uphold Family Centered Care.
• Access and document in the electronic health record per policy.
• Educate patients and families on disease, home care, and safety.
• Float to units as needed and cover on-call per policy.
