Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Austin, TX. You will provide specialized respiratory support to critically ill children in a high-stakes environment.

• Experience in pediatric ICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients’ respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the PICU team.
• Administer respiratory therapies including ventilation, oxygen, and aerosols as prescribed.
• Monitor ventilator settings and adjust as needed based on patient response.
• Educate families on respiratory care and discharge planning.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments and patient progress.
