Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital PICU/PCICU in Grand Rapids. The unit is Beacon designated, reflecting excellence in patient care. Shift options include night and rotating schedules based on seniority, with 36 hours per week and a 7:00 pm–7:30 am timeline.

Requirements include an Associate's in Nursing, a Michigan RN license, and BLS; PALS within 1 year preferred. ICU experience is preferred for this critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge using the nursing process.
• Provide professional nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Leader per Corewell Health policies.
• Incorporate patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care and document education accordingly.
