Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital seek an Instructor - Physician Assistant or Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the Pediatric Critical Care team. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioner.
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies; Bachelor’s degree accepted based on terminal degree requirements at time of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day care of children with acute and chronic illness requiring critical care.
• Active role in education of trainees when present.
• Participation in on-call schedule for the pediatric intensive care unit.
• Liaison and collaboration with stakeholders and consultants throughout the community hospital.
• Procedures as needed to diagnose and treat critically ill children.
• Responder for the Rapid Response Team.
