UChicago Medicine is hiring a Part-Time Critical Care Outreach Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Chicago. This role offers advanced care to critically ill children while ensuring clear communication with the medical team.
Candidates must have an ADN, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years in ICU. Shift is during the day with coverage every other weekend. Benefits include tuition reimbursement for BSN.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and enrollment in BSN program within 6–9 months.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in ICU.
Responsabilités
- Provide advanced care to critically ill children with 24/7 coverage.
- Respond to Rapid Response Team calls and assess deteriorating patients.
- Assist patient transfers requiring an RN.
